Meet the People! Katie Ermilio

Katie Ermilio is the name you won't forget after this fall. After we saw her lookbook for Fall 2011, we instantly knew loads of girls are watching this new designer and waiting to try on these structured, tailored yet drapery pieces. Talented Katie Ermilio started to create and wear her own design since she was 12, as the granddaughter of Grace Kelly's personal clothier, design and craftsmanship as her family heritage are in her blood.
'A modern princess' popped out when we saw modern and timeless elegance in tailored white blazer with electric blue collar, beautiful shift dresses with ruffle, pleated and cutout details, especially the last two red dresses caught our eyes.

Forget about LBD, it's time for red coming and made them your staples; one midi and one maxi are just needed in every girl's closet.

Project Ocean at Selfridges - No More Fish In The Sea?

It has started for two weeks, as one of must-go shopping destinations in London, Selfridges now teams up with environmental groups and brands to celebrate the beauty of ocean.
Couple talks and events are held during the project month, alongside several pieces from designers are showcased at the ground floor's space and window displays, which we found inspirational!

Prabal Gurung's J.Crew Collection

Each year, J. Crew co-op with newly awarded CFDA winner for creating a capsule collection from the first winner, Billy Reid, to the latest, Prabal Gurung. This New York based designer has dressed several celebrities from Michelle Obama to Demi Moore, now we can buy some of his fabulous design at J. Crew.

This capsule collection will hit the store this week and also allows pre-order from now!

Met Gala 2011 Best dressed selection

We mentioned once in February about the exhibition, holding by The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, celebrating the late Alexander McQueen's phenomenal contributions to fashion. The exhibition is constituted from his postgraduate collection to final runway presentation. For more information about 'Savage Beauty', please visit the Met's website.

As people are stil thinking about Kate Middleton's stunning and elegant wedding dress made by Sarah Burton, the Met held a grand gala for the opening of 'Savage Beauty' couple days ago. Here we picked our best dressed celebrities.
