Meet the People! Elizabeth Taylor
Elizabeth Taylor, aged 79, passed away this morning, the 23rd of March 2011. Starting her actress life at 12 in 1944, a decade later in 1960 Elizabeth Taylor was known as highest-paid actress ($1 million) at the time as Cleopatra. Although she wasn't a fashion trendsetter, she was definitely a beauty icon and had her moment in hollywood.

9. Her first marriage (of eight!) was to Conrad "Nicky" Hilton, Paris' granddad.
